okay prepare yourself for the only time i will ever cheer for the united states (only in sports, never any other time):
this week at the Winter Olympics in Italy, the US women's ice hockey team won GOLD over Canada in, honestly, a really stressful game! they had gone undefeated in the rest of the tournament, only giving up a single goal while scoring 31, but when team Canada scored short-handed to start the second period of the gold medal game, it was really worrying. thankfully, captain Hilary Knight managed to tie it at the (almost literal) last minute, and they held on to take the game to overtime. then, after only about four minutes, Megan Keller won the game in stunning fashion! it was incredible!
this US team was made up of some of my most favorite hockey players, including Knight and Keller, goaltenders Aerin Frankel and Gwyneth Philips, NCAA athletes Laila Edwards and Caroline Harvey, and many others :) it was so fantastic to see this team win the Olympics, as they have been dominating international play since defeating Canada at the World Championship in 2025. this is the US women's third Olympic gold medal, joining the ones from 2018 and 1998.
it's also great to see all the records that have been broken during this Olympic tournament! with her clutch tying goal in what she has announced as her final Olympic game, Hilary Knight has broken the US record for Olympic goals (15) and points (33). Aerin Frankel became the first goaltender in Olympic women's hockey history to record 3 shutouts in a single tournament, including the first ever shutout of the team Canada women at the Olympics. Defender Caroline "KK" Harvey was named the tournament MVP for her stunning performance of 2 goals, 7 assists, and a whopping +14 (which means she was on the ice for fourteen more goals for her team than she was for goals against her team).
there were also amazing achievements for other PWHL players outside of team USA! Captain Canada herself, Marie-Philip Poulin, set the record for most Olympic games played by a Canadian woman, became the first woman to score 20 Olympic goals, and was named Best Forward at the Games. joining her on the Olympic All-Star team (the best players at each position) were forwards Hannah Bilka (USA) and Alina Müller (SUI), defenders Caroline Harvey (USA) and Laila Edwards (USA), and goaltender Andrea Brändli (SUI). Speaking of Switzerland, Müller and Brändli led their country to their second Olympic bronze medal. Both medals were won thanks to game-winning goals from Müller, who won it in 2014 as the youngest ice hockey player to win an Olympic medal, aged 15.
alright that's all i will subject you to LOL the moral of the story is that this Olympic hockey tournament was absolutely unreal and i'm so happy i managed to watch most of it! congrats to the US women! yippee!!

hiii omg i'm really staying on top of this blog thing now yayyyy!
i've been watching the marsupials enjoy awesome suda51 games shoutout to grasshopper manufacture. "romeo is a deadman" is so sick although i've missed some of the levels.. also i've now seen pretty much the entirety of all four "no more heroes" games and i kinda wanna play them myself. travis touchdown is such a loser i need to have him on my device.
my dear friend has also been raving about a potential "flower, sun, and rain" remake but suda has wronged us before so we'll see lol
besides gameing, i've discovered homemade milkshakes (but using milk and ice and sugar and whatnot instead of ice cream). this shit is awesome i <3 a yummy treat. you can make this too. just throw 2 cups milk, big ol' handful of ice, 3/4 cup sugar, and some vanilla extract in the blender. add 2 TBS cocoa powder if you want it to be chocolate (my fave). you could probably add other things to make it other flavors idk i'm not a doctor

making excellent sports page progress! i hope to start making some sports primers soon :)
i also just changed my site organization so that all the pages are not in a folder called pages. bc this was bothering me lol it didn't feel right to go from neocities.org to neocities.org/PAGES/whatever it's just not right.. so now it isn't like that anymore :) and i'm 99.999% sure that i edited all the relavent in-site links for that LOL
non-neocities update: it's cold as fuck outside like genuinely insane levels of cold rn. this winter shit is IRRITATING but it's okayyyy.. it'll be spring eventually...
i'm in my grilled cheese era btw. this time last year i was all about that tomato sandwich but this year it's grilled cheese. preferably with multiple types of cheese. i use mayo in place of butter as well. that shit is fire. and with soup? wow. unreal. highly recommended!

phew! did you know that it's really easy to keep up with your neocities when you make it easier for yourself? and also have lots of free time at home? crazy.
hi :) it's me, your friendly neighborhood orion, back again with another blog post. with this post, i have officially tied the number of posts i wrote in 2025. and it's only february 4th. lol. lmao, even.
the main update i want to make is: wow! i've done so much that i wanted to do with my neocities! i did a lot leading up to the previous post, but since then i also finished my sea of stars page :]! i'm really happy with how it turned out and you should definitely check it out if you haven't already. i also did some little things like changing up the music on a couple of pages.
i still really wanna do my dedicated sports page, and with the winter olympics hype, i might try to starton it today! i have to come up with a plan... i think i will follow the framework of my other pages, like gameing and pokemon specifically, where i'll have images (logos, probably!) that you can click to view my thoughts on different teams/leagues (/players?). and it will be cool. and i think my page color will beeeeeeee purple :) perchance.

okay so i actually stopped in the middle of writing this post to start making a css file for this LOL so i guess that's what i'm doing now. bye :)!

been making SO much neocities progress! yay!! this is why huge snow storms are actually awesome :)
in case you missed the updates in the last five days, so far i have written a blog post in the year 2026 (two now!), finally made my top bar of links written by a js file so that i don't have to edit every single page every time i wanna change something up there (lol), revamped my music page to now include the pretty album covers to All the albums i listen to with links attached, updated my monster hunter page, FINISHED my eastward page, put a link to the fan-run guilty gear wiki in my guilty gear page, and i've ALMOST gotten around to filling up my sea of stars page LOL but not yet.. tomorrow hopefully! unless i spend the whole day shoveling again...
i just remembered while typing that paragraph that i need to update my silly "what's new?" box in my home page. maybe i'll make that js too... sounds awesome :) i'm gonna take a moment to do that Right Now.

okay yay! it worked!! now i only have to update One little javascript file instead of my whole damn index html LOL plus i don't have to update it in two places anymore :)! js makes life so much easier and i think everyone should use it :]
anyway, yea! lots of progress on this site recently which is SO exciting! you love to see it! my next priority is to finish the sea of stars page, and then i Think i'm going to get to work on a sports page for real. stay tuned. sports are like my whole life so i hope someone will be at least mildly interested LOL although this site is for me so if i like it then it's already worth it :)

so somehow i managed to only make three posts in the year 2025 LMFAO
hi :) i've been kind of busy, kind of not busy, kind of motivated, kind of not motivated... you know how it is lol but here i am! back with a big update!!
at the time of writing this i have FINALLY actually implemented javascript for my header links. it ain't much but it's honest work. also took a good like Hour to get situated and also to move all my 2024 blog posts to an archive page (holy shit) because 2024 was two years ago (holy shit).
now that THAT'S over with i'm going to keep this update post very short and sweet so as to conserve my energy to actually do some more things :) not saying what bc you already know i will describe it and then not do it lol so !!
since i last posted here, i have:
• beat some games
• started some games
• watched a LOT of sports
• read some books
• and had a lot of fun :]
but then WHOOOOSH and all of a sudden it's 2026?? huh??? whateverrrrrr...
as for Super Exciting, i attended my first ever PWHL game!!!!!!!!! and it was awesome!!!! and it broke the US attendance record for a women's hockey game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!
i really should make a page for sports yapping.. i love yapping about sports...

greetings and go birds :)
welcome to another orion official blog post, posted just slightly over a month after the previous one. yay!!
some general updates: i'm still working on the project :) i have followed this account from that account, so you can check it out if you want, but it's missing most of the meat and potatoes and like . actual information on what i'm even doing LOL so please stay tuned for the Official announcement whenever i decide it has a substantial amount of "stuff" for you to see.
i've also been getting into my sports as per usual. i've actually just made my very first jersey purchase which is VERY exciting and i'm so pumped to get it :] i will share images once i have the item. additionally, the Philadelphia Eagles play their season opener against the cowboys tonight! go birds!! and flyers hockey, only a few weeks away! yippee!! i've also been watching the phillies fucking blow it so i look forward to them making a swift exit from the playoffs. if they can even maintain their ticket in. lol.
i have also been doing minimal gaming lately. i've been alternating between working and relaxing, so Occasionally i've been playing pokemon mystery dungeon: explorers of time on my phone haha! i hope to soon jump back into the extra fun stuff like Keep Driving, Monster Hunter, and more, but for now i am just content with chilling :)
i hope you have had a good summer! my summer was decent overall, and i'm ready for it to be fall now :) soon..
alright time to wrap this thing up. i still am putting off updates to this site in favor of working on my project but WORRY NOT! there will be updates once the need to yap consumes me lol okay bye

woah it's a new blog post in the same year as the previous one haha crazy :)
i hope you are doing so awesome! this time i don't have to list half a year's worth of events off the top of my head so i'm sure we're both pretty happy about that LOL instead i have just normal updates and stuff to say.
i still don't have the time or motivation to stream, but that's okay :) even if i never get back to it i still made years worth of memories that live on on my youtube vods channel. i'm told they make good background noise! if i do manage to get back to it tho it might be time for a new setup.. lol
in other news, remember when i said "very soon" i would be posting a link to a website about a project i'm working on? yeahhhh i didn't make any more progress on that LMFAO but it's okay don't even worry i'm Totally gonna work on it like Right Now as soon as i post this haha don't fret i promise i promise.
i want to gush about all the lore and background and whatnot for the project but i should probably just actually make it real first lol or at least some sort of beginning to it :) i will let you all know. okay byeeeee!!

WHAT DO YOU MEAN, I HAVEN'T POSTED SINCE 2024??
welp! here we are! time to lock the fuck in.
where am i? what am i doing? who are you people?? uhhhhhhhhhh... ok, i think it's starting to come back to me...
to make a long story short, i got kind of busy very unexpectedly lol sometime in the winter everything just got kind of weird and overwhelming. you may have noticed that i have not "streamed" in quite some time now. these are parallels. i haven't really done much online stuff at all since i last posted! which sucks, bc i love neocities and streaming.
let's seeeeee... what have i done in the last, oh, eight months...?
to start off on a rather sad note, it's with a heavy heart that i announce that stanley has passed away :( his page on this site now acts as a memorial to his life and legacy, which now holds a whopping 72 images for your viewing pleasure in the gallery. please do enjoy it, and feel free to send me a message about him! could be anything, really, and i will add any loving remarks about him to the legacy section under the testimonials. you can see some examples there if you want to say something but aren't sure how to go about it :) your love and support of my dear sweet boy has always meant the world to me, and i hope he can continue to bring new viewers joy, so if you let me know what you think then that will help show that he lives on here <3
now let's move on to happier topics :)
as i mentioned in my previous post below (from November, GOD.), beastieball was released in early access :] it's gone through some changes since then, especially balancing but also adding sprites and such that were missing back then. i wouldn't say it's come a long way, or anything, but it's certainly exciting!!
one of my other most favorite games, sea of stars, came out with a free dlc adding 8 more hours of content! they also added couch co-op and some new battle mechanics to make it even MORE awesome. i fucking love sea of stars :)
between winter sale and summer sale (both of which i nearly managed to skip between blog posts, somehow), i've accrued a Lot more games, and also my sister started sharing our steam libraries so i have access to her games too :) some games that i've played since we last spoke, in no particular order, include fantasy life i (SO GOOD.), keep driving (i have Just acquired the full game but i lovedddd the demo and played a nice ~90 minutes when i bought it in full), kabuto park (really cute!!), the messenger (HARD. but related to sea of stars so i Must know), cassette beasts (SOO COOL AND FUN, recommended by allie!), unbeatable demo (i can't wait until the full game aaa), wandersong (started it but got distracted), fields of mistria (really fun and cute!! more content on the way, too), and no case should remain unsolved (absolutely gorgeous story with incredible gameplay which i've never seen anywhere else, definitely one to check out). i also have early access aotenjo, great god grove, and another crab's treasure waiting for me :]
oh my god DELTARUNE CAME OUT TOO?? i played chapters 3-4 of DELTARUNE fucking DELTARUNE?? WHAAAAT???? anyway i of course replayed the original two chapters before continuing on bc i wanted a fresh new look at the game. naturally, i took this as an opportunity to actually fight jevil and spamton neo for the first time and . they were both way easier than i expected?? i thought those fights were supposed to be hard. they both took me like two or three tries and that was it. whatever tho lol at least i got my cool items (i always do pacifist so yummy defense items for me!). then i moved on to chapter 3 and ohhhhhhhh my god. ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh my godddddddd it was so good and fun literally unbelievably good And fun how does toby do it. i wish everyone on the damn planet weren't obsessed with that fucking television rn but whatever it's a small price to pay for deltarune. holy shit. deltarune. anyway i of course also played chapter 4 and it HURTTTTT IT HURT ME BADLYYYYYY AUGHHHH it hurt my feelings. my fee-fees. ouwwwchhh. ouch. ow. yeow. ough. oof. etc. i'll probably write about it someday in my gameing page but for now just take this ramble lol also SHOUT OUT TO ALLIE for buying me the game as an early birthday gift :] my dear pal thank you so much once again!
moving right along ummmm. the flyers have disappointed me once again but chef danny is making MOVES this summer so here's hoping we'll actually be good this season. the phillies are doing phillies things (playing like shit despite being one of the top teams in the league). HOLY SHIT THE EAGLES WON THE FUCKING SUPER BOWL?? GO BIRDS????? FUCK??????? YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the sixers are also a team in philadelphia. BUT GREAT NEWS. the sixers actually did the best thing ever. like they did it for me. get this. the sixers won a bid for a WNBA team and the league announced it ON MY BIRTHDAYYYYY AAAAAAAAAAA!!! Women playing GOOD basketball in PHILADELPHIA SOON!! YES!!! this city loves me :) now to wait five years :) smiling so serenly :)
in other news, i've discontinued and removed "storytime." i just couldn't ever find the desire to actually Write anything lol and i came to the conclusion that i just don't care about shows or books or movies as much as i care about video games and music lol oh well! hope no one was like super duper interested in my pink page which was empty besides some character headshots lmao but don't worry bc i'm thinking of replacing it with a sports page :] and the crowd goes mild!!
trying to think if there's anything else in particular of note... it's almost midnight now and i'm sleepy and have to get up early... i suppose if anything else comes to me i'll make a new post sometime soon :) and hopefully soon will be before we're on the opposite side of the goddamn year :) hehe okay goodnight~
