hi :) it's christmas and i got many awesome gifts.

i basically told my sister that i'm tired of being COLD all the time. so my family got me many awesome warm things :)! i got slippers with Pikachu all over them (never had slippers before!), thermals, lots of thick warm socks as well as funny socks with food patterns, some nice new clothes and shoes (i haven't gotten new clothes or shoes in Years), an orange scarf, hand and foot warmer packs, and a BIG heavy weighted blanket. i will never be cold ever again lol they also got me some little stuff like a big bag of trail mix with peanut m&ms and some soaps and stuff :)

i hope anyone who celebrates the winter gift-giving holidays in any way shape or form were able to give and receive any gifts they wanted :) and i hope everyone has a nice rest of the year!

this winter storm is kind of scary... we're not getting anything we haven't seen before but it's definitely very cold and windy :( two of my least favorite weathers to happen. the weather advisory said to look out for a windchill as low as -20f and . well we got it alright!

at the very least i am fortunate that i don't have anywhere to be anytime soon, and it isn't supposed to snow much which means no impromptu workout for me lol

at the very time of writing this my lights have begun to flicker haha uh oh

my day went from being busy to being nothing due to snow. naturally that means i should update my neocities :)

apparently there's a trend where you make up what you would be like as a Pokémon gym leader, including your outfit, gym, theme, and team. i'm a ground type fiend so please enjoy my awesome ideas :)

the outfit is inspired by my beloved Nevada Montecarlo from the original Fossil Fighters. shouts out. she's so cool i've always wanted to dress like her. i basically changed her camo pants to be ground-like and made the fingerless gloves and boots match better to that. the tank top isn't cropped bc i don't really wear cropped shirts but otherwise her style is impeccable. i also already wear glasses so there's no need for her stylish sunglasses. and i added the bucket hat bc of the Sun keep this in mind we are outside it is hot.

i imagine my gym is kind of like if Roark's gym from diamond/pearl/platinum was cooler and more dirt/sand than rock. it would be outside in the sun like real life but the fossils (fake, for show) would be in big walls around the arena. could be fun if the scarlet/violet style challenge was like a big maze or a scavenger hunt for bones and jewels going through a big mock dig site :) my six year old ass LIVED in the Sinnoh underground and i have used a fossil pokémon on my team in almost every game. and my sister did real life paleontology and loved it so like we could make an imaginary career out of this.

you may be thinking man your team is so susceptible to ice WELL i get cold easily and also you won't make that same mistake after we rematch bc excadrill and camerupt will beat your ass. depending on gym badges things will change of course. 10s i am using sandshrew and hippopotas. 20s i get sandslash hippopotas and baltoy. 30s and up i get sandslash hippowdon claydol and vibrava. and then mid forties and up i have flygon. naturally my signature move that i give out to trainers is earthquake but i am not handing a 100 base power move to some kid with level 16s so they would get bulldoze instead. only 60 but hey it lowers opponent speed so its a pretty sweet starter tbh

also in a perfect world claydol and flygon have actual fucking abilities. hippowdon has sand stream and sandslash gets hidden ability sand rush for being my most specialest boy. i think it would be sick as hell if flygon had an ability like sand rush or sand veil. but also trapinch can have hyper cutter or arena trap or hidden ability sheer force so like what if flygon was allowed to have these. these are all pretty sweet especially sheer force. i can't think of a good ability for claydol. maybe magic guard or analytic. and my friend excadrill has sand force and camerupt has solid rock :)

i open with hippowdon for the sand stream startup. also i am aware of rude people who override weather conditions. i see you. so it also knows sandstorm as a backup just in case.

i think my true ace would be flygon and you would see me flying around on it regularly. but sandslash is my true best friend. possibly one of my first partners we go everywhere together. i also have like an entire colony of sandslash/sandshrew in my damn house. this is an important character trait of mine.

i think the jobs of the pokémon outside of battling are important! excavating keeps them in shape and in their element and they all would have different roles, with help from my crew of reserves who don't often see the arena but are still part of my awesome family. sandslash and excadrill would do most of the digging, flygon would blow away dust and debris, hippowdon and camerupt would move larger pieces of earth out of the way, and claydol would safely transport intact specimens.

thinking about how i've met two (2) people irl who i knew prior (an uncle and a neighbor) who found out my favorite band is haken and went "whaaaat! i LOVE haken that's so crazy!!" and then proceeded to say the most insane shit about the topic.

like my neighbor was like "i didn't think you would be the type to like them, they're kind of older" when ross jennings is fucking 38.

or my uncle being like "ohh my favorite album is aquarius. when's the last time they made something new?" when they've released albums in 2020 and 2018 and are releasing another next week. also aquarius was their debut album and it's like clown music to me. "ohh the story is so beautiful" yes i'm sure it is but the honks. the honks, man. "celestial elixir" is pretty good sometimes but it's 17 minutes long and it loves to be really good for like 2 minutes and then anything at all for 5. aquarius isn't bad but it sure ain't affinity lol

OK i finally feel normal again. for a few days there i straight up had an illness that was making me absolutely fucking Sick about hockey lol but now that i finished my four especially major final projects (and am getting good grades on them!) i can go back to playing games and updating my neocities and having fun :) and we're going to a hockey game on friday which is exciting!! i haven't been to one since 2019 due to the everything.

today i am going to spend a good chunk of time on neocities things i've been wanting to do forever :] this will include a post on murder by numbers (because How did i forget to include one of my favorite games), hopefully finishing the music posts i've had in the works, and maybe make individual posts for main series pokemon games i especially like. or all of them! who knows. depends what i'm feeling up to by that point lol

oh! and i need to eat. and it's raining today.

happy marry a man monday or as i like to call it sex with a man monday or as i like to call it strive anji 632146S. anyway.

it's not Really monday because it's one in the morning and that doesn't really Count. i haven't gone to sleep yet. and i Only got a few hours so you know. what are we talking about. uh.

i had a point i was trying to make but i forgot. i was telling smiley "haha i never make Real blog posts i just put up images or videos i like." but then i didn't have a video or image to do so i said fuck it i'll make a serious post Today! ...but here we are lol

i will say that college is beating my ass a little bit but it'll be done soon i guess. um. i miss streaming for sure. i've been wanting to play so many games i've had lined up but all my time is allocated to school or sports or guilty gear. something something help me time manage my family is starving or whatever.

uhh so guilty gear huh. if that shit doesn't have a fuckin death grip on me i don't know what does lol. i could play or even just Think about playing all day if i wasn't so goddamn busy. the big tournament is soon which will be fun to watch but it's like right in the middle of all the bullshit. this weekend i was deprived of gaming and was promptly bewitched by ice hockey for no less than 72 hours. i feel almost normal though.

i think classes that happen at any time should be banned nobody should be doing that shit it's bad for your health. it's always "see you next week don't forget the paper is due" and not "how did you sleep have you slept 你吃了吗 meet any cool dogs lately" and like what's up with that.

let the record show i'm not That tired i've been way more tired i'm totally awake and i feel fine i just think having to be up before noon tomorrow is kind of boring so i'm rambling at my html to make it so i don't have to go to bed yet. how can you expect me to go to bed now right in the middle of my latest blog post you're out of your damn mind you should be ashamed. not you dear reader i'm talking to the html editor.

my friend brought a bulletin board to keep in my room for us to pin pictures we like. unfortunately, the only printer anywhere is at the library, and it doesn't allow color printing, so i "printed" some of my favorite guilty gear sprites that i like with some pens and markers. i sat down and said hmmm... what's my Favorite thing to do when i play as my favorite trio... and this was the outcome lol. these are traced (i taped index cards to my phone screen) bc i Would have just printed them, but i still like how they turned out, so i'm putting them here :)

i don't often make original characters, but when i do i become a little bit insane. i made a species of human-sized, anthropomorphic osprey that lives in space and eats rocks and it's awesome. they have feathers made of metal, and their bodies are fortified by the metal in their diet, and they eat yummy radioactive rocks so they can release blasts of radiation to alert a mate from great distances in the vast expanse of space.
